Moderate in all other things, I've become a fanatic with wool and needles. My husband arranged knitting lessons with a friend for my last birthday. She started me on a potholder, which turned into an eight-foot scarf. Just the beginning! It must be in my Norwegian-American genes. I was born to knit.
