Course: BA Journalism Favorite Book: Hope For The Flowers by Trina Paulus - it's one of the first books I have ever read when I was a kid, and back then I didn't truly comprehend what the book was about. Rereading it at high school age gave me a lot of insight about life in general, how things won't always turn out the way I want it to, that I'm not required to do what others are doing, that I can do my own thing, and that sometimes, what I see as the end can actually be the beginning to something more beautiful. Favorite Film: The Lego Movie - it looks light and easy at first, but it's actually a goldmine for analyses and social commentary, and it plays with and subverts a lot of filmmaking tropes. It's also hilariously self-aware and doesn't mind winking a few times at the audience--also, who doesn't like listening to Morgan Freeman's voice? Favorite Media Practitioner: Kara David - she's game for everything and anything, she's professional, she's polite and civil, and she's determined to get to the root of things. I look up to her. Favorite Song: Indak by Up Dharma Down - It gives me so many feelings :((( Favorite Meal: I really love eating corned beef for breakfast. It just feels really home-y to me.
