Dr. L. O. Aranye Fradenburg

I practice psycho-analysis and psycho-analytic psychotherapy in Santa Barbara, CA. I trained at the New Center for Psycho-analysis in Los Angeles, where I held a John Arnold Winton Fellowship, and teach courses there in Infant Observation, Freud, and Gender/ Sexuality. I've taught psycho-analytic theory for over 20 years as an English Professor at Dartmouth College and UC Santa Barbara, and studied it in graduate school at the University of Virginia. At UCSB, I founded and co-direct the specialization in "Literature and the Mind."
