I have been a CNRS researcher since 2007, working in the 'RNA-RNP' team at UMR 7365 IMoPA in Nancy. Our research focuses on studying the mechanisms that regulate the expression and alternative splicing of coding and non-coding pre-RNAs, and on understanding the underlying mechanisms of dysregulation in pathological processes such as cardiovascular and inflammatory diseases, and radiation-induced fibrosis. My work encompasses both fundamental and translational aspects, the latter of which are closely linked to RNA maturation. I have developed these aspects in collaboration with clinicians at Nancy University Hospital and the Lorraine Cancer Institute (ICL), as well as with the CIMIND team at IMoPA for the phenotypic characterisation of stromal stem cells dedicated to cellular therapy.
