It's only 12 min of your life... take your time and fall in love with this masterpiece. By far one of the greatest movies in history. I was looking for this scene on youtube just because of the food. You probably will never see again people, who disliked this masterpiece. If you got issues eating food or getting hungry in general, watch this. Cleans you up right through. I'm salivating as I write this. The story is a lament. The music is a dirge, mourning the passing of civilized society... The story warns what happens when institutions fail. Makes me want to eat Chinese food whenever I see this clip... Best scene of all time. The way he drops the gun. It ws Barzini all along. The scene of traditional Catholic baptism. Novus ordo removed many of the rites. Couldnt get away with this these days. Too many security cameras ! Always tried to figure out who was the couple in bed that got blasted. Here, two people were baptised... 🙏 I came here just to hear Tessio say. Sure I do, it's perfect for us. it's perfect... Tape the gun behind the shine box. What have I ever done to make you treat me so disrespectfully. Now I read the book and I can't wait for the movie.   When my dad showed me this movie for the first time, he paused it after this scene and said: “You get it? Its ironic! Do you understand! ” Yes dad. I understand. Wow! This orchestra! The dynamics, expression, precision. 4:47 Couldn't even get his leg up for a kick LOL One of the greatest classic scenes in world of cinema. I always love the Turk's irritation at the waiter. Too bad the don who was killed in the revolving door didn't get shot by a revolver. The dude abides man :p. What's up with Clamenzas dirty black fingers? Looks like he's been working on a car engine. The unquestionable alibi. If they knew the restaurant, why let michael kill solozzo. The music after the gunshots is the best part of the scene. Only a true opera lover, like Coppola, would know this level of action must be punctuated by two or three bars from the horn section. I love that this scene establishes the entire theme of the films- which is family and relationships. The scene is basically this movie is about the mafia, but it's not John Wick and this is not about murder. And we are not hitmen. We are people who value our relationships.
